Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Solder Machine Operator Team Lead. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment. Job Duties Operate wave solder, reflow oven, or selective soldering machines to join electronic components to circuit boards. Load and unload boards or parts onto the production line. Monitor temperature, speed, and flux application to ensure quality bonds. Inspect soldered joints for defects and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Follow safety protocols when working with solder, flux, and heated equipment. Maintain accurate production records and report issues to supervisors.
