Job TitleSolar Finance AssociateJob DescriptionAt Regions, the Solar Finance Associate works as part of the Equipment Finance Solar Tax Equity origination team and serves as the primary analytical and execution support for bankers in the origination and management of solar finance projects. This role works across the organization and with third-party consultants and experts in delivering the solar tax equity product to customers.Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transactionEnsures a high quality of client deliverablesPrepares written materials, including pitches, proposals, client materials, and associated supporting analysesMaintains proprietary databases through monitoring news, current events, transactions, and financial information for clients, prospects, and other industry participantsUnderstands client needs and identifies Regions' products and services, or other actionable ideas, to help clients achieve goalsProvides expert service, with a high sense of urgency, in the coordination between the coverage team of bankers and partners to ensure alignment with the team's mission of delivering the whole bank to the client with speed, certainty, and creativitySupports the Solar Finance team with call planning coordination, production/pipeline management, and ensuring quality reporting across all sales performance applications and measurement systemsWorks on multiple projects, both independently and as part of a teamThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a proven record of high achievementTwo (2) years of related experience performing detailed financial analyses in a corporate banking role or similar position with a renewable energy companyPreferencesExperience in tax equity and/or energy project finance transactionsStrong knowledge of tax equity and debt structures in the renewable energy spaceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to assume a substantial amount of responsibilityAbility to exercise good judgment and be a self-starterAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to work in a team environment when applicableAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)High level of curiosity and eagerness to learnStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum: $93,236.80 USDMedian: $122,860.50 USDIncentive Pay Plans:This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan.
