Supporting an assigned group of engineers, the full-time Solar CAD Technician will provide technical drafting support and create construction drawings/designs in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Complete design and drafting tasks within the Solar department under the supervision of experienced engineers Create and modify construction drawings and designs using AutoCAD and other relevant software Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards Required qualifications Two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting or actively pursuing a four-year engineering degree, or equivalent Proficiency in AutoCAD is required Familiarity with PVFARM, PVCase, or other utility-scale PV software is a plus Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of PV electrical and mechanical design is beneficial
