Software/Test Integration EngineerPeopleTec is currently seeking a Software/Test Integration Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. We are seeking a full-time on-site Software Test/Integration Engineer interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks and blending engineering and software skills.
This is a full-time, on-site position.Duties include:Developing and executing software test procedures to verify requirements and featuresCreating and configuring complex test scenariosDeveloping software test documentationCollaborating with stakeholders and Government customers on requirements verificationWorking within an agile team environment including program increment planning, iteration planning, feature and story development, sprint planning, and iteration retrospectivesParticipating in demos for program sprint reviewsQualificationsRequired skills/experience:Experience with GitLab/Git for software configuration managementExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systemExperience programming network connections (e.g., message generation, formatting, UDP and TCP/IP interfaces)Must be a U.S. CitizenAn active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.Education requirements:Mid-Level: Bachelor's degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience; OR Master's degree with 3 years professional experience; OR PhD with no experienceSenior-Level: Bachelor's degree from accredited college in related discipline with 9 years professional experience; OR Master's degree with 7 years professional experienceDesired skills:Test automation or analysis automationAgile scrumJava and user interfacesJira, or similar tool, for issue tracking and agile project managementMulti-core and multi-threaded programmingFamiliarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) missile defense system, sensors, and M&SOverviewPeople First.
