Software Test Engineer – HIL BenchWe are seeking a Software Test Engineer with experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Bench Testing to join our team in IL. The candidate will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting software and hardware components for high-precision positioning and autonomy applications.Key Responsibilities:Conduct HIL Bench Testing to validate software and hardware performance.Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and automation frameworks for system validation.Troubleshoot C++ code (no development required) to analyze software/hardware issues.Utilize Python for scripting, test automation, and data analysis.Work on autonomy and robotics systems, focusing on high-accuracy positioning solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies and product quality.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience with HIL Bench Testing (any platform).Strong Python scripting and test automation skills.Ability to read and troubleshoot C++ code (development experience is not required).Autonomy experience and knowledge of high-accuracy positioning systems (preferred).Robotics experience in a testing or validation role.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
