Tax Terms: W2, 1099 Corp-Corp or 3rd Parties: YesStaff augmentation contractor will provide support all testing efforts for the Upgrade Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) project, an approved Exceptional Item. The project will modify multiple LIMs applications by reinstalling network cabling and switches to accommodate necessary DSHS building modifications, replacing and upgrading nearly 30 legacy virtual servers, creating a secure disaster recovery environment, and upgrading the LabWorks and LabWare software applications.Duties:Develops, publishes, and implements test plans.Writes and maintains test automation.Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products.Writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing.Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.Works from a Master Test Plan (MTP) document to develop detailed test plans and test cases.Uses Client-ALM to document Software Releases, Test Plans and Test Steps.Uses Client-ALM to record the results of running test cases.Prepares reports documenting test case coverage and results of testing.Works with other team members to understand proper functioning of the applications to be tested.Able to work both in team and independently with minimal guidance.Finds ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.Candidate Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will not be considered for this opportunity and the resume will not be submitted to the customer.8 - Required - Test Case Development8 - Required - Documenting software defects using a defect tracking tool and confirming fixes to reported software defects8 - Required - Working with automated test tools3 - Required - Developing Functional Test Plans with Client-ALM3 - Required - Developing Test Cases with Client-ALM for web applications3 - Required - Executing Test Plans and Test Cases using Client-ALM3 - Required - Skills with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.3 - Required - Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.3 - Required - Excellent analytical, problem-solving and team collaboration skills.3 - Required - Oral and written communication skills.1 - Preferred - Experience with public health information systems and software applications
