Software Solutions ArchitectEmployer: HCL Global Systems Inc.Job Duties:Lead and design reusable platform for data conversions from legacy applications database (Oracle 19c) to future Salesforce modules.Design reusable API gateways.Design and architect mission-critical applications.Lead migration of build and deployment process to DevOps (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps, to improve the lead and cycle time, deployment frequency and mean time to recovery (MTTR) of the deliverables.Assist developers with troubleshooting in business-critical issues and showstoppers.Lead the effort of SAML integration.Work with the Enterprise Architect team to outline new technological roadmap and establish process and platform.Closely working with client downstream and upstream applications to establish the system, service and integration architecture via batches and web services (SOAP and REST).Analyze audit findings, remediate plan of action, milestones (POAMs) and defining solutions.Perform application performance monitoring and continuously working to meet SLAs for any low performing areas (performance tuning for the complex business and technical scenarios).Responsible for translating customer requirements into formal requirements; design documents and establish specific solutions.Design, program and test client acceptance of results through Client Value Method (CVM), User Centric and Human Centric design and development models.Responsible for all technological (Hardware and Software) upgrades for the application.Utilize Java/J2EE, Web services (SOAP/RESTful), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle, IBM WebSphere Application Server (IBM WAS), IBM WebSphere MQ, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and RedHat OpenShift with industry and business skills to deliver solutions to customer.Responsible for reviewing and approving design and development solutions from application teams.Deliver new and complex high-quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements.Responsible for effective implementation of Quality procedure for team by using IBM Rational Clear Quest (RCQ) and IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT).Work with database administrators to define new data model or change existing data model for accommodating the new business requirements.Assist developers and testers to suggest means and ways to improve unit, functional and integration testing for technical solutions.Work Location: Various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required.
