Software QA LeadImmediate need for a talented Software QA Lead with experience in the Banking and Financial Industry. This is a 07+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX.Key Responsibilities:Update/Maintain and execute Migration QA approach in compliance with program QA strategyProduction of and management against overarching Migration master test planManage testing activities on large scale data migration with (legacy mainframe to new system) to ensure data integrity and no loss of dataCreate and execute automated and performance testing strategy for data migration leveraging outsourced team.Drive increasing efficiency and effectiveness of team resources, processes, and tools including onshore and offshore supplier resourcesOn time and on budget migration QA delivery according to overall QA project planDetailed and measurable team specific work plans, status reports, and WIRID (risk, issue decision) items that align to guidelines from PM and drive team reportingAdherence to Client quality processes, procedures and standardsEffective and consistent representation of QA team, standards and procedures across Core Receivables ProgramDefine and execute test data management strategy and coordinating cross-dependent testing data requirements (including data sync across 80+ integrated systems, back-up/restore, etc.) leveraging an outsourced team to align with program test schedule for various concurrent testing activitiesKey Requirements and Technology Experience:8-10 years of experience leading all phases of QA effort required to execute large business transformation projectsExperience strategizing and implementing Test Data Management process and/or tool to increase testing efficiencyExperience using API automation to create/inject "production-like" test data into test environments to meet testing needsIdentifying and analyzing quality risksDetermining testing scope using risk-based testing approachAbility to react to changing project plans and come up with creative alternativesPreparing, managing time estimates and fixed bid deliverables (SOW)Reviewing supplier deliverables and providing feedback and directionAssessing Risk to schedule, cost, or quality on project and testing engagementPreparing and managing the project testing schedulePreparing and facilitating the implementation of test plansDefect Management and AnalysisExcellent communication (written, verbal)Organizational, planning, and analytical skillsAbility to work in a collaborative "team-oriented" environmentExperience with any of the following would be a plus:Data Compare Tool (Informatica DVO or similar)Test Data Management Tool (i.e. Informatica TDM or similar)Automotive Finance experienceOur client is a leading Banking and Financial Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
