Enjoy digging into software issues, testing complex applications, and making sure technology works the way it should?
We're looking for a hands-on Software QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, stability, and performance of software solutions used in demanding communications environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct testing across mobile applications, web-based platforms, backend systems, and external integrations.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze application behavior, troubleshoot defects, and investigate technical logs to uncover root causes.
- Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and validation documentation.
- Assist with automation initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen QA processes.
- Monitor defects, test results, and quality metrics to support reliable software releases.
- Partner with developers and product teams to identify issues and drive solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in software quality assurance and application testing.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Jira or comparable defect management platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting applications and analyzing system/server logs.
- Exposure to Linux environments and test automation.
- Strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Telecommunications or communications software experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SIP, 3GPP, PTT, APIs, or complex system integrations is a plus.
Schedule: Hybrid – onsite every Tuesday and Wednesday (both days required).
Work Authorization: Candidates must have independent authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship of any kind.
