Software QA Automation EngineerLocation: Houston, TXRate: DOE $/hr. on w2 onlyPosition Type: contractResponsibilities:Builds unit and integration tests, test rigs and mocks suitable for validating the correctness of service API implementations.Follows best practices associated with DevOps and value-driven development – ensuring quality from concept to production.Works well in a small team and capable of collaborating with other teams to align objectives and share expertise throughout the broader organization.Identifies and keeps abreast of Client technical concepts and markets.May author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations.Qualifications:Bachelors / Masters / PhD degree in science or engineering with software experience or education.Minimum three years' experience as a test engineer.DevOps experience with continuous delivery on public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure or AWS.Competency with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Bash, Typescript or Go.Experience with agile product development practices required.Experience with continuous deployment practices required.Experience with microservices architecture, development, deployment and testing.Familiarity with container or virtualization technologies
