The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion while ensuring that the team works effectively and efficiently. The candidate should also be able to perform team management tasks, such as providing feedback and evaluation to junior engineers, and keeping track of team performance.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.Minimum qualifications:BS degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experienceSenior knowledge and experience in either C++, Rails, or ReactExperience leading teams and managing peopleExperience providing support, feedback, and evaluation to junior engineersStrong proactiveness and patience to search for resources, documentation, and conduct testingAbility to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasksExperience with one or more general purpose programming languages and frameworks including but not limited to: Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective CPreferred qualifications (but not required):Over 5 years of professional work experience in skills in the Minimum qualificationsExperience in mobile development (iOS or Android)Experience in web developmentExperience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration or networking (e.g., routing, ESDN)Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting systemsExperience designing large-scale distributed systemsExperience designing and developing software oriented towards systems or network automation
