We re looking for a technically strong, execution-focused Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the development of a smart access platform transforming the self-storage industry.

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing a multidisciplinary engineering team building secure, reliable, cloud-connected IoT solutions across backend services, web applications, mobile platforms, and connected access systems.

What You ll Do

• Lead the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions
• Manage and mentor a team of 5 10 engineers/developers
• Drive engineering best practices across code quality, CI/CD, observability, performance, security, and reliability
• Guide full-stack development using Go, React/TypeScript, React Native, AWS, and C++
• Oversee integrations with third-party platforms, access control vendors, and identity providers using OAuth/SAML
• Ensure secure device provisioning, TLS, encryption, and role-based access control
• Partner closely with Product, Customer Success, Operations, vendors, and external development teams
• Translate product and customer needs into reliable, production-ready technical solutions

What We re Looking For

• 3+ years of technical leadership experience
• Proven experience delivering and scaling cloud-connected IoT systemsStrong hands-on experience with Go/Golang and AWS
• Experience with React/TypeScript and mobile development, including Swift/Kotlin
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, observability, production releases, scalability, and system reliability
• Experience designing secure, distributed systems and integrating with external platforms/APIs
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
