Salary: $180k - $270k
Total compensation: flexible – based on experience and seniority
A leading quantitative trading firm is expanding its technology team in New York and is looking for a talented C++ Software Engineer to work on high-performance systems supporting global trading strategies.

The Role
- Build and optimise ultra-low-latency C++ systems .
- Develop high-performance infrastructure for real-time trading.
- Work across C++, Linux, networking, memory and concurrency .
- Collaborate closely with traders, researchers and engineers.
- Improve system performance, reliability and scalability.
- Help build and scale technology within a growing New York team.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong C++ and Linux experience.
- Experience with low-latency or high-performance systems .
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency and performance optimisation .
- Background in networking, distributed systems or systems programming is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for challenging technical problems.
