Our team is responsible for developing and optimizing XR technologies across the software stack, including runtime software, developer SDKs, and game engines. By empowering our developers, we help create the most advanced XR applications.Responsibilities:Write Unity engine or Unreal Engine extensions including engine runtime modules, graphics components, and native pluginsPrototype and develop new engine, graphics, or XR features for PICO XR deviceHelp integrate new runtime features with Unity tools and build pipelinesHelp drive PICO Unity developer SDK's and XR tool packagesDeveloper ecosystem support, addressing developer pain pointsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Experienced with game engines such as Unity/UnrealGood practical knowledge of Unity engine scripting API'sPractical knowledge of 3D graphics, rendering, and shadersStrong knowledge of object oriented design patterns with C++/C#, 3D Vector math and data structuresPreferred Qualifications:Good understanding of modern graphics, shaders and pipelineExperience designing immersive applications XR and web/mobile games/apps using UnityExperience Native Unity Engine Plugin developmentJob InformationFor Pay TransparencyCompensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ - $ annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
