This cleared software engineering role focuses on full-stack application development, TypeScript programming, software lifecycle execution, automated testing, containerized applications, and real-time processing within a mission-critical DoD environment.Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting defense and national security programsDesign and implement full-stack software solutions using TypeScript and modern software development practicesParticipate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and peer reviewsAnalyze system requirements and decompose them into software component specifications and implementation plansDevelop processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithms, large-scale data processing solutions, containerized applications, and real-time software systemsPerform software integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities throughout the software lifecycleCreate and execute automated unit and integration tests to validate software functionality and performanceReview software designs and code for compliance with documented requirements and established development standardsDocument test procedures, software modifications, and validation resultsResolve software defect reports and support continuous improvement initiativesContribute to system architecture discussions, including hardware/software trade studies, software reuse strategies, and evaluation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutionsSupport configuration management, version control, build processes, and software release activitiesQualifications:U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal LawActive Secret Clearance requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited university3+ years of experience programming with TypeScriptExperience supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenanceExperience working in Agile SCRUM software development environmentsProficiency using source code management tools, preferably GitExperience within structured, process-driven software development environments utilizing peer reviews, revision control systems, defect tracking tools, and build/release management practicesExperience developing and executing automated software testing, including unit testing and integration testingKnowledge of software engineering principles, requirements analysis, software architecture, and system integrationAbility to support development of complex, high-performance software applications in a defense or mission-critical environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience using JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Visual Studio Code (VS Code), SonarQube, and CameoExperience with multi-threaded application development, real-time processing, task scheduling, synchronization, and memory managementExperience with automated test framework development, including Google TestExperience developing and deploying containerized applicationsExperience with Kubernetes orchestration platformsExperience developing software in Linux environmentsExperience supporting classified defense programsFull-Time position with an Employee-Owned company offering a comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Short-Term and Long-term Disability, and Life Insurance, FSA, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k) Plan with company match, Tuition and Training Reimbursement, and Incentive Compensation.
