Senior Software EngineerOverview We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support a short-term integration project. This role involves hands-on software and hardware debugging, validating test systems, and ensuring compliance with program requirements. The work will focus on integrating an existing software solution, running in Windows 10/11 environments, written in C# with Visual Studio and invoked through National Instruments TestStand.
The successful candidate will work directly in a lab environment with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, to complete system validation activities.ResponsibilitiesPerform integration of an existing C# software solution with test hardwareDebug both software and hardware to resolve issues impacting system performanceValidate that systems meet requirements through formal testing and PVR (Production Verification Review) activitiesWork directly with oscilloscopes and other test equipment to troubleshoot and verify system behaviorCollaborate closely with an electrical engineer to assess compliance with requirementsUpdate and modify C# code as needed to meet requirementsProvide daily technical status updates to team leadershipQualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong proficiency in C# development on Windows 10/11 using Visual StudioExperience integrating software with hardware lab equipment, especially oscilloscopesProven ability to perform hands-on software and hardware debugging in a lab environmentActive Secret security clearanceAerospace & Defense industry experiencePreferred: Experience with National Instruments TestStand
