Seeking a full-time Software Engineer, Storage to work remotely, who will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based storage products while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance performance and contribute to the open-source Ceph project. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering teams to research and develop new features and improve application performance Design and maintain storage-related contributions to the control plane in PHP and integrate orchestration code in Python Contribute to the open-source Ceph project, ensuring its reliability and performance meet customer goals Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on storage or distributed systems Proficiency in PHP and Python with experience in control plane and orchestration code development Understanding of cloud storage architectures and technologies Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems Experience with distributed systems and networking fundamentals
