Within LM Space, the Biscayne Program is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the program area as a Software Engineer Senior to support the C2 development team.
As part of an Agile team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks in various areas across the mission and collaborate with the development teams, customers, and subject matter experts. Note: This position requires a government security clearance, US citizenship is a requirement for consideration.In this position you will:Collaborate with an exceptional team of Software Engineers implementing solutions and developing new features for command and control application.Serve as a software developer on an Agile team tasked with developing cutting edge web applications within multiple classification domains to serve an emerging area of protecting USG space assets.Participate in daily scrums, software sprint/release planning, demos, and retrospectives.Design, develop & demonstrate software capabilities to both internal and external partners.Work on a mission that you can be proud of, knowing that you are making a lasting difference in the world and in the Space domain.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or other engineering disciplines or equivalent experienceExperience in software development using programming or scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, or PythonSoftware design, problem solving, and troubleshooting skillsThis position requires an Active DOD Security Clearance to begin employment, at a minimum level of: Top Secret with active SCIExperience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceDesired Skills:Full development lifecycle experienceExperience with the frameworks.NET Core and AngularExperienced with Horizon software application providing command and control services for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assets.Experience working as a member of an Agile Scrum or Kanban teamExperience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis)Experience with GitLab CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration toolsExperience will cloud native development (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)Familiarity with C2 software applications for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assetsExperience with DevSecOpsExperience with Git, JIRA, ConfluenceAbility to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environmentFamiliarity with the Space DomainExperience producing quality documentationAbility to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship is required (no clearance is required to start; unclassified work is available until the clearance is obtained)Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, and must maintain the required security throughout the course of employment.
