Software EngineerPeerless is searching for a skilled Software Engineer to support development of modern software systems and services supporting defense and national security missions. The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions in a collaborative Agile development environment while contributing to containerized and cloud-enabled architectures. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to develop reliable and secure software solutions while leveraging DevOps practices, container technologies, and modern data architectures.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming using Go, Python, Java, or C#Experience developing software for Linux environmentsFamiliarity with HTTP-based web services and frameworks such as Java Spring BootExperience with data description languages including XML, YAML, or JSONExperience using source control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLab), Apache Subversion, or BitBucketExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, CRI-O, or similarFamiliarity with Kubernetes concepts and YAML configurationExperience working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to obtain a Top Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience working with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Redis StreamsExperience with caching systems such as Redis or MemcachedFamiliarity with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) technologies such as OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, or OpenIDKnowledge of compiler architecture, including lexers, parsers, or compilation processesExperience working in Agile/Scrum software development environmentsExperience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar build systems
