This is an exciting opportunity to provide a positive multiplier effect across many teams at Autodesk.Responsibilities:Develop self-service capabilities for platform components and transparent platform-level features to address cross-cutting concernsDesign, develop, maintain and support Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) frameworks, tools, services and librariesWork closely with architects, designers and other engineers in a tightly knit agile teamEvaluate new tools and technologies through POCs and propose solutions for implementationPractice strong software development principles and best practices: Test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, code refactoring, coding standards, etc.Document best practices, guides, systems design, reference architectures and implementationsMinimum Qualifications:3+ Years of full stack software development experience with focus on UI in building large-scale distributed systemsStrong hands-on experience in developing applications in one or more language stacks: JavaScript, Java, Python, Go, Node.js2+ Years of experience working with React, Angular or similar web frameworks is requiredExperience with UI component libraries and/or design systemsStrong understanding of object-oriented programming, service-oriented architectures, micro-services and design patternsProven track record of delivering mission critical customer facing applicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDesired Qualifications:Hands-on experience developing applications on AWSExperience working across teams in a highly collaborative environmentExperience with CI/CD, DevOps and Pipeline-As-Code such as JenkinsExperience with Agile software development and Scrum methodology
