Software EngineerLocation: RemotePosition Overview:The application engineer will work with application teams to assist in the modernization and migration of applications to Azure cloud environments.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with architects to help application teams with light refactoring and moving their applications.• Provide support in developing within a cloud-native environment.• Assist in translating coding practices to the target environment, particularly Azure.• Fill any resource needs that application teams may have from a modernization perspective.• Offer guidance on lightweight refactoring, such as moving from SQL Server to SQL platform as a service.Skills Required:• Experience in application modernization, particularly with.NET, Java, Spring boot.• Knowledge of DevOps practices is a bonus.• Familiarity with Azure cloud architecture and development.• Ability to communicate effectively with application teams and provide guidance.
