About the Opportunity
We are seeking Junior Software Engineers with experience at leading technology companies to support an AI research project. You’ll evaluate AI-generated code, develop challenging programming problems, and help improve model performance on real-world software engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, quality, and design.
- Create challenging coding problems, reference solutions, and test cases.
- Assess AI reasoning related to software architecture, debugging, and system design.
- Review algorithms, data structures, and implementation approaches.
- Provide detailed technical feedback to improve AI model performance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of software engineering experience at a leading technology company, with some experience within the past 3 years.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, debugging, and code review.
- Knowledge of system design and software architecture.
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly in writing.
- Based in an English-speaking country.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing complex codebases and evaluating software solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop challenging engineering problems with clear, testable solutions.
Compensation
- $245–$280/hour.
