Passionate about release automation, the full-time Software Engineer, Release Engineering will optimize and maintain the build and deployment pipeline for Firefox, collaborating with a geographically-distributed team while working remotely from France. Key responsibilities Write scalable software to support the daily build, test, and release processes for Firefox Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance the developer experience and implement improvements Respond to critical service outages during normal working hours without on-call duties Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Python Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud resources (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) Comfortable developing in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, with shell scripting experience Experience working on a distributed team across multiple time zones
