Software EngineerThe Software Engineer will develop and maintain front-end user interfaces dedicated to configuring and monitoring servo motor drives used in motion system applications such as packaging machines and robotics. This role is responsible for UX design, software architecture and design, implementation, code review, product integration, and both automated and manual testing.The engineer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—from requirements and design through validation and delivery—while collaborating with a globally distributed Scrum team. As the team works across multiple time zones, some flexibility in working hours is expected.Schedule: Mon - Fri On-siteKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain front-end GUI applications for motion control softwarePrepare UI mockups and collaborate with end users to ensure usability and ease of useDesign, refactor, and review software architectureImplement high-quality, maintainable code and perform unit testingReview architecture and code contributions from peersTest, validate, and stabilize delivered featuresContribute to continuous improvement of software development processesEvaluate and integrate new technologies within the development toolchainCollaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locationsTravel: Occasional business travel (less than 5%), which may include international travelRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong interest in GUI development with a focus on usability and aestheticsProficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C++)Solid understanding of software architecture and design principlesAbility to work effectively in a global, collaborative team environmentResults-oriented, self-starting, and proactiveAbility to learn and work effectively with complex technical subjectsCustomer-focused mindset emphasizing ease of use and feature usabilityBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experienceFluency in EnglishPreferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with .NET technologies, including WPF, XAML, and WinFormsExperience developing GUI applications that interface with hardware devices2+ years of experience in software design and developmentExperience working in Agile environments using Scrum methodologiesFamiliarity with modern development toolchains (e.g., Visual Studio, GitHub, Copilot)Proficiency in additional languages beyond EnglishRestrictionsRestrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a 'U.S.
