have direct influence on product and infrastructure decisions. The culture values:OwnershipTechnical ExcellenceReliabilitySpeedCollaborationProduct ThinkingOperational ExcellenceLearning VelocityPragmatismEnd-to-End ExecutionWhat You Will Do• Build and evolve the core auction engine and bid management platform• Design systems that allocate GPU capacity using real-time marketplace dynamics• Own platform-level distributed systems and backend infrastructure• Develop reservation management and capacity allocation services• Design pricing and marketplace logic powering platform operations• Improve platform reliability, resiliency, and scalability• Solve concurrency, race condition, and distributed systems challenges• Build and maintain backend APIs and platform services• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure• Manage cloud infrastructure and platform operations• Improve observability, monitoring, and operational tooling• Collaborate closely with engineering teams across supply and consumption systems• Participate in on-call rotations and production incident response• Build automation and operational tooling to reduce engineering toil• Ship features end-to-end from design through production deployment• Drive technical decisions across platform initiativesIdeal Candidate Background• 3–8 years of software engineering experience• Strong backend or platform engineering experience• Experience building and operating distributed systems• Experience maintaining production systems at scale• Strong understanding of concurrency and asynchronous systems• Experience solving race condition and reliability challenges• Strong Python engineering experience• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases• Experience working with cloud infrastructure• Strong software engineering fundamentals• Experience designing and shipping backend APIs• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills• Ability to work effectively in fast-moving startup environments• Strong ownership mentality• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Comfortable participating in on-call rotationsCompensation & Benefits• Base Salary: $170,000 – $250,000• Competitive Equity Package• Visa Transfers Supported• Opportunity to build foundational AI infrastructure• Significant ownership and autonomy• Direct exposure to company-wide strategic decisions• Small, high-impact engineering team• Strong product-market fit and rapid growth• Exposure to AI, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems• Opportunity to shape the future of GPU compute infrastructureWhy JoinThis is an opportunity to build the infrastructure layer powering the next generation of AI applications.Rather than working on isolated services, you'll own systems responsible for allocating, orchestrating, and managing compute resources that power real-world AI workloads. You'll work on distributed systems, marketplace infrastructure, allocation algorithms, platform reliability, and cloud-scale backend services while helping define the future of AI infrastructure. The role offers a rare combination of platform ownership, distributed systems complexity, startup velocity, and meaningful technical impact. If you enjoy building scalable backend systems, solving difficult infrastructure problems, and operating with high ownership, this role offers exceptional scope and career upside.
