The team works in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day.What You'll DoOwn the infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer tooling that keeps our engineering team shipping fast and safely at scaleSet the technical direction for reliability, security, and compliance — building these in from the ground up rather than bolting them on laterShape the design and scalability of our external API, turning it into a competitive asset for customers and partnersPartner with engineering leadership to define roadmap priorities and translate ambiguous problems into clear technical plansRaise the bar for engineering quality through design reviews, mentorship, and hands-on collaborationWho We're Looking For5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record on complex, large-scale projectsDeep expertise in AWS — this is our primary cloud and you'll own itHands-on experience with CI/CD, observability tooling, and distributed systemsComfortable making technical decisions and navigating hard tradeoffs at whatever scope your role demandsEnergized by building in a fast-moving environment where the playbook is still being writtenBonus PointsExperience building or maintaining third-party integrations (ERP, fintech, or similar)Background in fintech, ERP, or accounting softwareExperience owning and scaling public-facing APIsFamiliarity with enterprise readiness (SOC 2, SSO/SAML, audit logging, or similar)Kotlin, Java, or TypeScript experiencePrior experience at a high-growth startupThe base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $270,000, plus equity and benefits. Exact compensation depends on your skills, experience, location, and background, and the range may be adjusted over time. Equity is part of the package, all full-time employees participate in Rillet's equity plan.
