Software EngineerCAE USA is seeking a software engineer to build and deploy cutting edge cloud-based software products for internal Research and Development and/or Department of Defense contracts. This position is a fully on-site position with location in Orlando or Tampa, Florida.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of technology demonstratorsPresent and conduct technology demonstrations to leadership and potential customersSupport and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testPerform as part of an Agile (SAFe) team (scrums, planning, retrospectives)May include travelQualifications and education requirements include:Bachelor's degree in engineering, software, or computer science.Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experienceDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S.

citizens are eligible for this role.Preferred skills include:Machine Learning and Data Analytics; Virtual Reality; Cloud technologies; 3D ModelingGeospatial data processing and visualization (GDAL, PDAL, PostGIS, Geoserver, OpenLayers, Leaflet, Cesium)SAFe CertificationExperience with gaming technologies such as Unity 3D, Unreal EngineIAT Level 2 Certification (e.g. Security +)Security responsibilities include:Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S.
