Role Overview
This fullstack new grad software engineer role builds production systems that power internal workflows and AI-enabled platform capabilities. You will develop backend services, frontend interfaces, and data models that support engineering, operations, and recruiting tooling, and you will grow into owning critical systems while working closely with experienced engineers. This position is remote and full-time, aimed at recent graduates and early-career engineers who want fast technical growth.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop end-to-end fullstack systems that power internal workflows and platform features.
- Build clean, maintainable backend services and APIs, applying scalable engineering practices.
- Develop high-quality frontend interfaces used by internal teams and end users.
- Participate in data modeling, schema design, and database performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to turn ideas into production-ready features.
- Improve engineering quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and help build resilient, observable systems.
- Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability as you develop engineering judgment.
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, recent graduate or graduating soon.
- Internship, co-op, research, or meaningful personal or project experience building software applications.
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with backend development using Node.js, NestJS experience is a plus.
- Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and distributed application communication.
- Exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset, with excitement to learn quickly in a fast-moving engineering environment.
- Required skills called out in the source, including React, Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL, and AI-native familiarity.
- Internship or professional software engineering experience.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, or DevOps fundamentals.
- Exposure to modern architectures such as microservices, serverless, or event-driven systems.
- Interest in AI-powered products, workflow automation, or data-intensive applications.
- Experience contributing to team projects, hackathons, open-source software, or startup environments.
Employment type, full-time. Work location, remote. This role is targeted at recent graduates and early-career engineers who will ramp into increasing ownership of core platform and product systems.
Compensation- Core team compensation range stated in the role materials, $180, 000 to $250, 000 per year.
- Formal national pay range notice for this full-time position lists a base salary range of $110, 000 to $150, 000 USD.
- All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
