Software Engineer
A leading aerospace and defense organization is seeking a Software Engineer to support onsite software development for mission-critical test equipment systems in Tucson, AZ. This role supports engineering and production environments used in the development, verification, production, and sustainment of advanced defense products. The work is hands-on and focused on Windows-based application development, integration, troubleshooting, and support for test systems used by multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The best fit is a cleared software engineer with strong C#, C++, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Windows OS experience who is comfortable working onsite in a lab, factory, production, or test-equipment environment. This is a strong match for someone who can design and maintain object-oriented applications, troubleshoot software and instrumentation issues, derive software requirements, and contribute independently while also mentoring junior engineers when needed.
