Leading the design and development of advanced autonomous robotics systems, the fully remote Software Engineer IV will architect real-time control systems, computer vision, and sensor fusion algorithms while providing technical leadership across engineering teams. Key responsibilities Lead the architectural design of autonomous robotic systems and develop real-time control systems Design and optimize computer vision and object detection algorithms for robotic applications Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams while ensuring quality standards are met Required qualifications 7+ years of software engineering experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time control Expert proficiency in C++ and experience with Python and other relevant programming languages Strong background in robotics algorithms, including motion planning and control theory Experience with ROS/ROS2 or equivalent real-time frameworks Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
