This role supports critical cyber operations for the U.S.
Marine Corps and Joint Forces, focused on developing and maintaining mission-driven software solutions. The Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command (MARFORCYBER) is responsible for conducting full-spectrum cyberspace operations, including operating and defending the Marine Corps Enterprise Network, executing defensive cyber operations, and supporting offensive cyber operations when directed. This role will contribute to supporting MARFORCYBER and its subordinate organizations by delivering advanced software capabilities, system integration, and mission-critical engineering solutions to enhance cyber readiness and operational effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ and PythonSupport development of tools and capabilities for cyber operations and mission systemsDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defectsEnhance system performance, scalability, and reliabilityDevelop and maintain automation scriptsCollaborate with cross-functional engineering and operational teamsParticipate in code reviews and ensure secure coding practicesSupport system integration, testing, and deploymentMaintain technical documentationRequired QualificationsU.S.
