You will ensure our systems deliver reliability and operate effectively within secure environments. As a Software Engineer, you will plan and execute project work, deliver end-to-end tasks towards goals, and participate in design with guidance.
You will focus on the practical deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of air-gapped solutions like Google Distributed Cloud (GDC), while managing and installing core infrastructure technologies.Responsibilities:Plan and execute project work, manage priorities, and drive progress.Participate in system design for cloud expansion with senior guidance.Deploy and configure air-gapped solutions like Google Distributed Cloud (GDC).Install and configure core infrastructure: network switches, firewalls, block/object storage, servers, and hardware security modules (HSMs).Identify deployment requirement issues and help the team course-correct.Triage infrastructure errors and address commonly escalated issues.Leverage scripting and automation to improve deployment, configuration, and management for air-gapped solutions, reducing systemic toil.Communicate deployment knowledge within and across teams.Identify stakeholders and contribute to cross-team collaboration, coordinating timelines and objectives for assigned components.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
