Summary
The Test Engineer (SDET) is responsible for the overall design, development, testing and maintenance of automation and automation frameworks in support of applications and product offerings at.
Responsibilities
- Document testing processes, workflows, and other special considerations for process improvement
- Develop and execute test plans to achieve automated and manual functional testing, integration, End-To-End regression, and User Acceptance testing
- Assess and understand the flow of application code and its interaction with different systems
- Drive the strategy for implementing test automation into a continuous integration and continuous development environment
- Design and develop automated test suites to ensure high quality and a high level of test coverage
- Perform regression testing when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 3-10 years performing software application test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures and execution of automated test scripts
- Experience working in a highly collaborative agile software development environment with CI and TDD (have worked in a DevOps environment)
- 2+ years in web application automation using Playwright with C#
- Experience working with ASP.net Web Forms and MVC, SSIS, SSAS, SQL
- Experience with API testing
- Thorough understanding of Agile-based SCRUM methodology
