## Software Engineer IIIApplylocations: Remote, AZtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R **What this Job Entails:** The Software Engineer designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products. They will also develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. **Scope:*** Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways* Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialty* Works on problems of a diverse scope* Receives little instruction on day to day work, general instruction on new assignments ## Responsibilities* Provide operational support for Java-based applications and services running in production.* Troubleshoot application, server, and infrastructure issues to quickly restore service.* Analyze logs, performance metrics, and system behavior to identify root causes.* Support Linux-based server environments and application infrastructure.* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.* Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams.* Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production support activities.* Monitor application health, system performance, and availability.* Document operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.* Recommend improvements to system reliability, scalability, and automation. **Required Qualifications/Skills:*** Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience* Expert-level experience supporting and troubleshooting Java applications.* Strong knowledge of Linux server administration.* Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.* Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similar.* Proficiency in Python scripting.* Working knowledge of Go (Golang).* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication skills.* Experience working with various development programs* Ability to quickly learn customer support processes, tools and techniques* Understanding of how to configure third-party software components and technologies* Ability to perform root cause analysis of network, operating system, and other issues* Ability to collaborate and work remotely including use of communication tools* Ability to multi-task and self-organize including prioritization of activities* Experience using monitoring systems* Attention to detail ## Nice to have Qualifications* Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.* Kubernetes and Docker experience.* Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or New Relic.* Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines.* Experience with REST APIs and microservices.* Experience with Git and version control.**Physical Demand & Work Environment:*** Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing* Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment* Must be able to use a computer* Must have the ability to communicate effectively* Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers **Salary Range**$114,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD (Salary)* *Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.** *Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
