Software Engineer III

CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer III opening for our client.

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex applications.
• Build and enhance applications using Spring Boot 3.x and Azure Cloud .
• Implement application security with Spring Security and OAuth2 .
• Develop technical specifications, test plans, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with development, operations, technology, and business teams.
• Troubleshoot application issues and evaluate system integrations and performance.
• Recommend technology and process improvements.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Work independently on complex application development and technical assignments while coordinating development activities and project milestones.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers as needed.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate's degree and 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 8 years of combined education/work experience including 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Spring Boot 3.x and Azure Cloud experience required.
• Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, JUnit, and GitLab Duo .
• Strong application development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing system solutions and working with business teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Banking application or financial services experience.
• Experience with integrated applications and system interfaces.
• Enterprise application development experience.
• Experience working independently on complex projects.

  Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

  The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.98 - $93.29/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
