At Charles River, we thrive on collaboration, continuous improvement, and a shared commitment to shaping the future of financial technology.Responsibilities:Work under modest supervision to design, develop, test, and debug small to medium software enhancements and solutions within the business and technical problem domainsDevelop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript or other related software engineering languagesWrite unit and automation tests to ensure a high quality end productConduct manual tests to ensure a high quality end productParticipate in code reviewsActively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the CRD scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesQualifications:Education:B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other technical course of study required.
MS degree desirable.Experience:A minimum of 2 to 5 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experienceDemonstrated skill with object-oriented programming, data structures, compiler or interpreter technologies, embedded systems, operating systems, relational databases (RDBMS), scripting and new/advanced programming languagesAble to work on small to medium sized projects with moderate supervisionEffective written and verbal communication skillsAble to work well with peers in a collaborative team environmentExperience working with an Agile development methodology is desiredSalary Range:$70,000 - $118,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
