Come be a part of the magic that makes The Walt Disney Company one of the "World's Most Admired Companies".Job Summary:In this role, you will work within the Frontend Web and Experience team and will be primarily responsible for building out various tools to empower workflows and reporting on the digital supply chain.Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:Creating and maintaining shared JavaScript libraries and UI components.Implementing business logic of various tool workflows.Reviewing others JavaScript and TypeScript code.Acting as a tech leader for various projects and initiatives.Employ test driven development and agile development practices.Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:Basic QualificationsMinimum 3+ experience years in web development or software engineeringProven understanding of frontend web development technologies and principlesKnowledge of JavaScript and JS frameworksEffective communicator, collaborator, and teammateAble to multi-task and prioritize as neededQuick to learn new conceptsPreferred QualificationsPrevious work experience in media distributionExperience building AI driven softwareExperience working with vendor teams to deliver high quality resultsKnowledge of performance testing and application profilingExperience with React NativeRequired EducationBS Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent.The hiring range for this position in California is $117,500.00 to $157,500.00 per year and in Connecticut is $117,500.00 to $157,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
