Software Engineer IThe SSI Group, LLC, headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, is a national leader in Healthcare Technology.Purpose of PositionAs a Software Engineer I, you will participate in the complete software development lifecycle—from design and architecture to system integration, usability, and delivery. You will play a dual role: maintaining critical legacy systems while actively contributing to a modern Lakehouse Platform. You'll collaborate closely with fellow engineers, product owners, and management to deliver high-quality, scalable SaaS solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
This role emphasizes hands-on development, performance tuning, testing, and production support. A key focus is adopting a "moving left" philosophy by utilizing local Kubernetes environments for early validation of containerized services before deployment.
