$48 to $63 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $100K to $130K annually
Summary
Mid-level software engineer responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting web applications. Works collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions. 70% to 80% backend duties.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain C#/.NET applications.
- Translate business requirements into software solutions.
- Develop and support APIs and web services.
- Build and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and functions.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable code and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and assigned work.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of professional C#/.NET development experience.
- Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, and Web API.
- 4–5 years of SQL Server or equivalent SQL experience.
- Strong stored procedure and database experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and responsive web development.
- Experience developing APIs with REST and/or GraphQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Bonus Skills
- React, Angular, or Vue.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Cloud application development.
- Database performance optimization.
- Automated testing or CI/CD experience.
