Summary:

• Designs and implements Ansible automation solutions using idempotent playbooks and reusable roles.
• Manages dynamic and static inventories, host variables, and integration with external sources.
• Administers Linux distributions including RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, and Alpine.
• Supports Windows automation using Ansible modules, PowerShell, and Active Directory integration.
• Integrates Ansible with Terraform, CloudFormation, and other IaC tools for hybrid provisioning.
• Automates container and Kubernetes cluster bootstrapping and management.
• Embeds Ansible runs into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, linting, and deployment.
• Implements secrets management using HashiCorp Vault, Ansible Vault, or cloud KMS.
• Ensures compliance with security standards and maintains audit trails.
• Uses Python or Bash for custom modules and automation glue code.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
• Proficiency in Ansible playbooks and roles with idempotent design and dependency management.
• Deep understanding of YAML and Jinja2 templating, filters, and conditionals.
• Experience with dynamic and static inventory management and host variables.
• Strong Linux administration skills across RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, and Alpine.
• Experience with Ansible Windows modules, PowerShell remediation, and Active Directory integration.
• Experience combining Ansible with Terraform or CloudFormation for hybrid approaches.
• Experience with Ansible for container and Kubernetes cluster bootstrapping and management.
• Experience with Git workflows for playbook repositories and CI/CD integration including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with testing tools like Molecule, TestInfra, and secrets management using Vault, Ansible Vault, or cloud KMS.
