Software EngineerThe primary role of the Software Engineer is to sustain, enhance, and optimize mission-critical applications supporting SIGINT analyst operations. This role focuses on backend and web UI development, API integration, and troubleshooting within secure environments. You'll work independently to analyze requirements, develop new features, and maintain reliable software solutions that directly support national security missions.Position Responsibilities:Analyze user requirements and enhance software capabilitiesSustain, debug, and optimize mission-critical applications and web-based interfacesDevelop and integrate APIs using Python modulesBuild and maintain applications using Django or similar full-stack frameworksDesign and interact with SQL-based data modelsUse GitLab for version control and collaborationOperate across Linux and Windows environmentsDocument development activities and system changes within mission platformsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience2 - 5 years of relevant experienceStrong Python development skills with experience using DjangoExperience working with SQL or SQLite databasesHands-on experience developing APIsFamiliarity with GitLab and both Linux and Windows operating systemsAbility to work independently and produce clear technical documentationAn active TS/SCI with PolygraphOther Qualifications & Desired Competencies:SIGINT domain knowledge or experience supporting analyst operationsExperience documenting systems or workflows using tools such as Gambit or HubSalary Range: $90,000 – $150,000Compensation & Benefits NoticeThe pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
