Software Engineer (Enablon), G&A Solutions Engineering (GSE)Apple is looking for a developer to support our environmental, health and safety (EHS) system implementations, with an emphasis in supporting ongoing work in enablon. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing EHS programs that are currently automated in enablon, and implement new EHS programs, as needed. This developer should be a quick learner with attention to detail.
This developer should be interested in learning a niche coding language (NABSIC) as well as the subject matter of EHS in order to develop the best solutions for Apple's EHS business line. This developer should be able to work independently, have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose defects, and seek guidance when appropriate.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the technical development and support of Apple's EHS programs in enablon, a tool that manages data and reporting for EHS operationsApply knowledge and expertise to develop the best solutions and system architecture for meeting and exceeding Apple's business requirementsManage and balance multiple implementation projects in parallel, and apply both agile and waterfall methodologiesPerform configurations to the existing EHS systems to meet the requirements of Apple's business processesWork with Apple's infrastructure and backend team members to resolve bugs and enhance APIsDevelop user metrics, reports, and dashboards required to support the global EHS teamCommunicate effectively and work collaboratively with multiple teams at AppleMinimum Qualifications2+ years of enablon implementation experienceTechnical knowledge of enablon's core coding language, NABSICBA/BS in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science or work related fieldPreferred QualificationsA problem solver who approaches technical challenges creativelyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneouslyFlexibility (this role requires evening hours for monthly releases)Domain expertise in incident management, inspections, chemical management, compliance management, risk management, and action trackingApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
