Our software engineering teams regularly utilize a variety of skills, including requirements analysis, synthesis of new and existing architectures that meld commercial and military communication functionality, and software engineering development best practices for complex systems where the ability to execute the mission is paramount.What You Will DoCollaborate on System Requirements and Software Development: Join a dynamic software team in a cross-functional environment, contributing to the definition of system requirements and translating them into detailed software requirements, UML/SysML models, and diagrams for a large-scale programEffective Communication and Team Collaboration: Work closely with other software engineers and team members to ensure clear communication and collaboration, fostering a cohesive, solution-focused environment across multiple disciplinesProvide Technical Support to SBCDS Team: Play a key role in providing direct support to the SBCDS team, answering technical questions and resolving issues promptly to keep development on track and maintain system integrityDevelop Code to Meet Customer and Certification Standards: Collaborate with your team to maintain, enhance, and develop software that aligns with customer requirements and meets certification standards, ensuring both functionality and complianceSoftware Implementation in Test Environments: Take responsibility for producing high-quality software implementations and integrating them within testing environments, ensuring the code is thoroughly tested and meets all specified requirementsQualifications You Must HaveExperience with Embedded Development using object-oriented designExperience with development tool sets, for example, Jira, Subversion/Git/Version ManagementActive and transferable SECRET clearance is required prior to start dateU.S.
