You will develop automated test capabilities, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and work across engineering disciplines to identify and resolve problems.The selected candidate will be responsible for:Developing software and automated test applications in C++, Python, and other languagesIntegrating mission processing software across development, simulation, and target environmentsDeveloping automated unit, integration, functional, and regression testsBuilding test frameworks and tools to verify mission processing functionalityDeveloping test data and test scenarios representative of operational environmentsTroubleshooting software and system integration issuesAnalyzing test results and identifying root causes of failuresWorking closely with software, FPGA, hardware, algorithm, and systems engineers during integrationSupporting hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testingSupporting continuous integration and automated regression testingDocumenting test procedures, results, defects, and verification evidenceParticipating in formal software verification and system qualification activitiesThis position is located in our offices in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.Desired SkillsExperience developing automated software test frameworksExperience with unit, integration, functional, and regression testingExperience with GoogleTest, pytest, or similar testing frameworksExperience with hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop testingExperience with CI/CD and automated regression testingExperience with LinuxExperience with test data generation and analysisExperience troubleshooting distributed or embedded systemsExperience with requirements-based verificationExperience with mission processing, image processing, or signal processingExperience working with hardware/software integrationExperience with aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical systemsActive security clearance#LMSpaceSoftwareEngBasic QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical fieldDevelopment experience in C++, Python, or another modern programming languageExperience with software testing, debugging, or integrationAbility to obtain a Secret government clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
