Rebuilding Insurance With AiOur goal is to rebuild the $1T+ insurance industry from the ground up using AI — not by layering on software, but by rethinking how insurance actually operates end-to-end. We're not just building a company; we're building long-term infrastructure that should still matter in 100 years. We're well-funded and backed by top investors, with the resources to build aggressively — but we operate like a small, high-output team. We don't optimize for titles or org charts.

We care about people who take ownership, move quickly, and want to build something massive.Beagle is Corgi's renters insurance platform for property management companies. Our software automates renter benefits and insurance end-to-end: enrollment, billing, compliance, claims, and even physical product fulfillment — replacing workflows that usually require entire operations teams. We process charge files and ACH payments, manage multi-product coverage configurations, and serve multiple user types through separate portals. All of this is built and maintained by a small, fast-moving engineering team. What You'll Work OnRebuilding core platform systems — taking MVPs to production-grade, handling complex state machines and edge cases where mistakes have real financial consequencesBuilding data ingestion pipelines — parsing messy real-world formats from third-party systems and turning them into clean, reliable dataWorking with real money flows — ACH payments, billing reconciliation, and Stripe integrations where accuracy is criticalShipping across multiple products — features often span multiple user types and systemsDesigning integrations with external platforms — mapping third-party APIs and building monitoring to catch issues earlyWhat You Won't Deal WithTicket factories — engineers are involved in product decisions, not just executionSlow shipping — we ship daily and merge ~70 PRs per monthSiloed roles — you'll work across backend, frontend, and infrastructureProcess for the sake of process — no story points, no unnecessary ceremoniesYou Should HaveStrong experience building web applications across the stackAbility to work across technologies (we use Go, TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL)Comfort with integration-heavy systems and external APIsExperience owning production systems end-to-end, including debugging and incident responseBonusExperience in insurance, fintech, proptech, or other regulated domainsFamiliarity with AWS (S3, SQS, ECS) and Docker in production environments
