Software Engineer - Colorado Aurora, CO or Meridian, CO or Louisville, CO This opportunity will remain posted on an ongoing basis. ICR is hiring motivated Software Engineers at multiple levels to support development of mission‑critical Combat Assessment applications. Position Description / Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ICR is an employee‑owned technology company delivering software solutions for the U.S. Government. Software Engineers on the Combat Assessment Development team design, develop, integrate, and maintain capabilities that support operational workflows. Responsibilities include implementing new features, developing automations and models, analyzing customer requirements, and providing onsite technical expertise. The role requires creativity, initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve complex mission challenges. Some travel may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.
  • Analyze and interpret customer operational requirements.
  • Implement new software functionality and enhancements.
  • Write and execute unit tests.
  • Document technical concepts for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
    • US Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of software development experience.
  • Experience with Python or other object‑oriented programming languages
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or Rancher.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Git experience in multi‑developer environments with branch management.
  • Experience with document‑style databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch/Opensearch)
  • Strong technical documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Security+ certification.
  • Experience with CI/CD (Git, Jenkins).
  • Experience implementing security concepts in applications.
  • Understanding software development lifecycle and analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $210,000 (depending on experience)
