Software Engineer PositionThe Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as providing lead input into the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Sourcing. SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap. Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.Areas Of Responsibility Include:Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standardsDrives technical vision and influences product roadmap and vision Implement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projectsLeads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level designSupervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including interacting with offshore associatesDirects root cause analysis of critical business and production issuesDocuments testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvementsInfluence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactivelySupports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems7+ years of experience in Sourcing Software development7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Java Services5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model.2+ years working on responsive React web frontends.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Spring Boot, Unit/Functional Testing, Understand and implements various design patterns (experience with Hexagonal and Onion architectures, Docker/Kubernetes experience.CTH: Yes Extension: Yes Ex Client is a plusAdditional Job Details: 7+ years of experienceRemote No, vendor partner is expected to work in office when team is present (currently 1-2 days a week).
