systems supporting collections, renewals, carrier integrations, and agency workflowsDevelop reliable integrations with fragmented and low-tech third-party systemsCreate scalable APIs and backend services supporting business-critical workflowsBuild on top of the company's browser automation infrastructureDevelop automation systems that interact with legacy software environmentsDesign and maintain scalable backend architecturesBuild systems that process, transform, and synchronize operational dataImprove platform reliability, observability, and performanceWork directly with customers to understand workflow requirements and operational pain pointsTranslate customer feedback into product and engineering improvementsDevelop new products and features from concept through production experience in backend software engineeringExperience working at an early-stage startup within the last 4 yearsStrong experience building and operating production backend systemsStrong proficiency in TypeScript or modern backend languagesExperience building APIs, workflow systems, and backend infrastructureExperience integrating with third-party systems and external servicesExperience deploying and maintaining production systemsStrong software engineering fundamentals and system design skillsExperience working directly with customers and translating requirements into productsExperience
