This role is charged with the full software development life cycle of new and existing software.Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PlanningIdentify and recommend new features and applications in conjunction with business leadersProactively keep up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies; drive adoption of new technologies and best practicesAcquisition & DeploymentImplement approved hardware, software, platforms, publishing tools, and programming languages for the development of system updatesSoftware Development & SupportParticipate in peer reviewing code and paired programming with senior developersRecommend and implement enhancements and modifications to the platformDevelop software applications and APIs using suitable technologiesRemain current on regulatory requirements for technology systemsCollaborate with senior technical team members on technical designs to ensure they are consistent and aligned with the broader enterprise visionWork with Risk Management and Information Security to follow security standards and ensure new and existing applications meet security standardsEnsure vulnerability exposures resulting from security scans are addressed in a timely mannerProvide timely resolution to support tickets in accordance with team service level targets.TestingDevelop comprehensive testing plan that includes:Acceptance criteriaCode coverage minimums are metAutomated testing services are in placeDefine, develop, and maintain unit testsProcessesActively contribute to and enforce best practices and group standardsKeep up to date on current technology and secure programming practicesWork with Enterprise Architecture to develop and maintain standards documentationPerform peer and lead code reviewsEnsure code review process meets security standardsMinimum Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years development experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated proficiency in software development of C#, Java or Python, and SQLKnowledge of web services such as SOAP and REST APIsExperience with Agile development practicesStrong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work well in a dynamic environmentEffective oral, written and auditory communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong troubleshooting skillsCompensation: $77,414-$98,703, plus a competitive benefits packageBilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other status protected by applicable law.Broadview FCU is committed to ensuring individuals with disabilities and/or those who have special needs participate in the workforce and are afforded equal opportunity to apply and compete for jobs.
