This isn't a "prompt engineering" role — it's a hands-on engineering role for someone who understands how cloud systems work and uses AI tools to ship faster without compromising quality.NOTE: This is a hybrid role located in South Austin (near Dripping Springs). Sponsorship is not available for this position.About The RoleDesign and implement scalable services in a cloud environmentContribute to architecture decisions with guidance from senior engineersBuild and maintain APIs and service integrationsUse AI agents to assist with coding, testing, refactoring, and debuggingReview and validate AI-generated code for correctness and maintainabilityImprove performance, reliability, and observability of existing systemsCollaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutionsContinuously evaluate and improve your AI-assisted development workflowAbout You3–6 years of experience shipping production softwareExperience building or contributing to cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)Understanding of service-based or microservices architecturesExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIsFamiliarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)Experience with Docker (or similar), CI/CD pipelines, and GitStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsWe are not optimizing for a specific programming language.
